I think that Prospero did an incredible job by creating the tempest to shipwreck them ( the nobles). His love for Miranda is unquestionably strong by causing her to sleep so she did not live that magical illusion he created.
Prospero, goes too far in assuming what a woman should want. His actions were nobel and intentions good, but this is still an example of another male attempt to dominate women.
